I was snapping photos of the art work on the Ultramat Laundry in Santa Cruz when Mike started telling me about other public art in town that I might want to check out. When he heard I was from Seattle he shared that he'd been in the military and stationed in a nearby town during the Seattle World's Fair. I asked him how old he was. He just said "pretty old".
